    The Ski Area Association is a non-profit organization founded in 1979. It was created at the instigation of the Quebec Ski Area owners to defend the interests of their industry vis-à-vis the government, but also to promote skiing. The ASSQ is funded mainly thanks to the sale of Ski Passe-Partout, the Provincial Pass, and by member contributions. There are 75 areas represented by the Association.

    Direct contribution

    Your membership fee is calculated at 0.225% of ticket revenues (daily tickets, season passes, etc.), with a minimum fee of $450 or a maximum fee of $6,500 plus taxes. 

    Your membership is renewable on May 1st of each year.

    Indirect contributions

    All ski area member must honour the financing products sold by the ASSQ: 

    • The Provincial Pass: Individual, Corporate, Week, MobilSki: Solo and Duo
    • The Pleasure to share
    • The Ski Passe-Partout

     

    The categories of financing products and the number of passes available for sale for each of these products will be determined at the Annual General Assembly.

    You will receive the invoice with the amount of your renewal by email.

    The Quebec Ski Area Association (ASSQ) boasts a number of initiatives benefiting its members, with whom the Association works closely: marketing strategies, coaching and research projects, a province-wide alpine skiing promotion campaign, networking activity organization, and many more.

    In addition, the ASSQ is on top of a multitude of current events and growing concerns at the heart of the industry’s operational issues: infrastructure replacement, chairlifts, slope maintenance, snow grooming, snow making, recreational activities, etc.
